Question for discussion: Is Vin Scully merely the greatest sports announcer of all time OR is he the Greatest Media Person of All Time?

For me, the only other person I would put in the same breath as vin scully is chick hearn. He was the man too. Nobody in basketball comes close.

I just enjoyed a fine Sunday afternoon of Dodger baseball as they complete the sweep!
Relaxing on a Sunday afternoon with the dulcet tones of Vin Scully announcing a Dodger game.
Clone the guy already! He should be the Dodgers' announcer for all eternity !
